My favorite job is being a Dad. I simply love working with children. I have been working with children for over twenty years--camp counselor, teacher, tutor, Cub Scouts, and much more. As a veteran educator in the Washington DC area, I have taught College, High School, and Middle School level science, as well as High School and Middle School Mathematics. During several summers, I worked with campers, ages 7-13, on making science fun through the various activities I plan. Currently, I teach 8th grade physical science at an Independent School in Maryland.
Residing in Olney, I am married with two children, who are above grade-level in Mathematics. The methods I used to teach them math as toddlers were fun and engaging. I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends and family. My favorite season used to be football season (Miami Dolphins fan), but now I just love spending time with my family-including my rescue dog, Murphy, and friends whenever I can. One of the most important things I've learned is that not all people learn the same --so, why try to teach them all the same way?
